i had a lovely 5-night stay at the dundarach. the hotel is a beautiful 1800s home and is located close to the town center. the staff were exceptional and very accommodating. the food was top-notch, especially the breakfasts. the grounds were charming with flowers and shady trees.

We enjoyed our time in this delightful hotel with stunning views from our cozy Superior Double Room. The four-poster bed added a special touch. Make sure to try the gluten-free meal options. very accommodating! Just be prepared for possible wait times during busy breakfast hours.

The views from the hotel are fine, showcasing the beautiful highlands. The lounge features comfortable seating arrangements that are perfect for relaxing after a long day, with those excellent valley sights to boot.

The room I stayed in felt a bit like a trip back to a time long past. It could use a refresh, especially the bathroom, which shows some wear and tear. The shower pressure was inconsistent, occasionally faltering mid-use-definitely not what I expected on a getaway. Plus, the bed seemed a bit off, with noticeable sagging at one end.

I recently stayed for one night in a Double Room and was thoroughly impressed by the beautiful historical atmosphere of the hotel. The cleanliness and upkeep were excellent, making it a comfortable retreat after exploring the lovely gardens with stunning views. I also really enjoyed the dining experience, with a delicious breakfast that included a variety of choices. One downside was the early closing of the bar, which limited evening options for relaxation.

The Family Room we stayed in was located in a more modern building rather than the main hotel . The thin walls meant that noise from adjacent rooms was a concern, leading to a few restless nights. During our stay, the bar charged £7.70 for two small bottles of water, which felt off considering the high room rate. To top it off, inconsistent heating left the room stuffy on a hot Scottish day without a fan for relief.

Couples weekend—mediocre experience

Room size was impressive, like, spacious enough to breathe, and the staff were friendly. Dinner was a trip, we ended up going to town for food instead but at least we found a great little place nearby.

It was a bit pricey for what we got, but not entirely unjustifiable.
